The Problem

When people walk through the doors of Wayside Chapel, they're often in the middle of a crisis – facing homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, or seeking connection.

An average of 278 people each day turn to us for help. Many of these people will be having the worst day of their life and something as simple as a hot shower, fresh pair of undies, and cup of tea with someone who doesn't judge can start to turn it around.
