More than a Cracker for Christmas
45 years ago this Christmas I shared cold, day old meat pie with my son for Christmas lunch. A lot of things have changed since that time but one thing I have never forgotten is how tough that was and how I never wanted to have that experience again and I have never forgotten where I came from either. So many of us over-indulge at Christmas so I am requesting that you all indulge me and join me in supporting the Wayside Chapel to ensure nobody else has to have a cold meat pie for Christmas Lunch. No amount is too small and definitely no amount to large. Thanks in anticipation of your support.All I want for Christmas... is your support!
For the 35,011 people experiencing homelessness in NSW, Christmas is a lonely and difficult time.
So, this festive season, I'm taking on Wayside's Christmas Kindness Challenge and I'll be raising funds to provide freshly cooked meals and ongoing support for those doing it tough.
